Our B&B is nestled on two acres of seaside meadows overlooking the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve, the largest Atlantic Puffin colony in North America.

You can tour the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve with our zodiac tour or sea kayak rentals.
You can hike the nearby East Coast Trail which offers spectacular scenery as it winds along the shoreline.
South of Witless Bay
Lord Baltimore's 17th century Colony of Avalon in Ferryland is a 35 minute drive from our B&B.

The oldest marine fossils in the world at Mistaken Point and the Cape Race lighthouse are an hour away.
The Cape St Mary's Ecological Reserve and the caribou herds of the Avalon Wilderness Reserve are an hour and a half drive south from Witless Bay.
St. John’s
Discover one of the oldest cities in North America, only a 30 minute drive from our B&B. St. John’s charming streetscapes and sites steeped in history have given it the name ‘The City of Legends’.

Cape Spear National Historic Site is the most easterly point in North America. The Cape Spear Lighthouse is the oldest existing lighthouse in Newfoundland.
